When you think of oregano, you probably think of the spice. But the there are so many uses for oregano essential oil. That does not involve spaghetti sauce. Just remember that oregano is a “hot oil,” which means it needs to be diluted before use.
1. Getting rid of warts
This might be my all time favorite uses for oregano essential oil. Why? Because warts are incredibly hard to get rid of. There is over the counter medicine, and there is going to the doctor and having them frozen off. But this never seems to work to completely get rid of the wart.
But with oregano essential oil, applied twice a day directly on the wart. You can get rid of it. I’m not saying this is an overnight thing. But eventually your wart will go away with continuous use. That is more than you can say about the medication for warts.
2. Immune Support
When we are sick, oregano essential oil is one of the oils we turn to. Oregano is one of the most powerful essential oils when you are sick. It has a ton of antioxidants that work to keep the body healthy. When you are sick it works to flush out the germs, and make you feel better quicker. I put this one on the bottoms of our feet always diluted. It helps clear up our sickness quickly.
3. Skin Tags
You know those annoying little skin tags you thought you just had to deal with? Well you can put oregano on it a couple times a day. And eventually it will fall off. How cool is that? As long as you keep putting the oregano essential oil on. Eventually it will not be there anymore.
4. Help with Cough
You know when you have that annoying cough after you have been sick? Put some diluted oregano on your throat. And your cough will go away.
So many uses for oregano essential oil. These are just the four most useful. But there are so many more.
